S'informer sans fake news, c'est possible grâce à l'UNICEF !
L'UNICEF DEFEND LE DROIT DES ENFANTS A S'INFORMER ET A S'EXPRIMER
Le 15 mars, une responsable de l'Unicef, Anne Soubirou-Nougué, est intervenue au collège Anne-Frank de Plescop pour parler de l'association dont elle fait partie. Cette association est très utile en France et dans le monde. Elle et deux autres personnes bénévoles ont répondu aux questions des élèves sur les infox, les fake news, et ont prouvé que les différents sites de l'Unicef étaient sans infox.

Trois bénévoles de l'Unicef, dont Anne Soubirou-Nougué, responsable de l'association à Vannes, sont venues informer les élèves de 6ème sur les droits des enfants. Les élèves, curieux, avaient de nombreuses questions à leur poser.
Elles ont dit que beaucoup d'enfants dans le monde étaient en difficulté, et qu’en France aussi, « 1 enfant sur 5 vit sous le seuil de la pauvreté ». Or tous les enfants ont le droit de vivre, de manger sainement, d'avoir des loisirs, d'être éduqués, de s'exprimer, d'avoir un nom et une identité.
L'UNICEF donne beaucoup d'informations sur les enfants, sur les jeunes. Y a-t-il des fake-news sur les sites de l'Unicef ?

L’Unicef publie beaucoup d’informations. On trouve le symbole "S'informer" sur plusieurs sites différents mis en ligne par l'Unicef. L'un de ces sites s'adresse plus aux enfants, My Unicef.
Comment peut-on être sûr qu’il n'y a pas d'infox, de fake news ?
Les informations proposées par l'Unicef, les photos, les vidéos, les dossiers, ... s'appuient sur l'expérience des gens. Leurs sources sont sûres, les bénévoles travaillent avec des professionnels qui sont sur le terrain, qui leur donnent les informations. Par exemple dans le dossier sur l'eau, toutes les photos sont signées par l'Unicef. Anne soubirou-Nougué a dit que c'est souvent l’Unicef qui donne ses informations sur la situation des enfants dans le monde.

L'UNICEF donne la parole aux jeunes de nombreuses façons, non seulement pour éviter les fake-news, les rumeurs, mais aussi parce que l'association considère comme un droit important des enfants le droit de s'exprimer.
Au Nigéria, l'association a créé un projet de radio pour donner la parole à des jeunes nigérians qui vivent dans la rue ou sont rejetés.
En France, l'association propose des enquêtes auxquelles participent un grand nombre d'enfants de 6 à 18 ans. En 2018 elle a publié une enquête sur le thème "Inégalités filles-garçons : qu’en pensent les enfants ?" Des enfants et des jeunes de la ville de Vannes ont participé à cette enquête et ont répondu à 165 questions sur les inégalités dans les droits, la vie quotidienne, l'éducation, les loisirs et la santé des filles et des garçons (p. 61).
L'UNICEF propose aux jeunes plusieurs façons de s'exprimer ; U-Report permet de répondre à des sondages, La Voix Des Jeunes permet aux adolescents de publier des articles. Ces sites fonctionnent comme des réseaux sociaux. Plusieurs jeunes ont préféré lire l'article "Tolly Dolly Posh : mode & développement durable".

L'UNICEF propose de s'informer pour mieux comprendre la situation des enfants dans le monde et mieux agir.
Plusieurs élèves de 6 A, Eole F., Margot H, Lisa L., Justine Le M., Eline M., Lyna R. -Le G. ont été sensibles au message d'Anne Soubirou-Nougué et d'Hélène. Elles ont proposé une première vente de gâteaux qui a rapporté 65 euros et elles ont lancé l'idée, avec d'autres, de créer un club UNICEF pour informer et agir au collège Anne Frank. "C'est bien de s'informer, dit Eole, c'est encore mieux d'agir !"
